THP is inviting community members to a Telephone Town Hall on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 7pm. Hosted by Karli Farrow, this Town Hall is an opportunity for the community to learn more about our infrastructure projects Trillium HealthWorks and hear directly from community members about what they hope to see for the future of health care in Mississauga!

These events include engagements with Streetsville BIA, the Rotary Club of Mississauga, the Town of Port Credit Association (TOPCA), the Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT), Seva Foodbank, and many more
Presentation at Mississauga City Council
On October 9th, Trillium Health Partners presented our local share plan to Mississauga City Council. Securing a viable local share plan is a critical step for The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital project to proceed to construction start in 2025.

Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital Town Hall
Trillium Health Partners hosted a Town Hall on September 12 at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga, to help shape the future home of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, sharing more details about a recent noise bylaw exemption, construction hours and preparation for work.

New Long-Term Care Homes
Trillium Health Partners hosted a Virtual Community Town Hall on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 to provide an update to the community on Wellbrook Place, the long-term care homes being built on Speakman Drive, and introduce Partners Community Health – the new, not-for-profit charitable organization that will operate the long-term care homes.

The New Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital
Trillium Health Partners (THP) proudly hosted a series of public town halls, on March 7, 9 and 10, to provide an update on Trillium HealthWorks – the largest health infrastructure renewal in Canada’s history which will respond to the community’s future needs and help shape the future of health care for our community and beyond.
The town halls included information, updates, and discussion on planning for the new Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, THP’s purchase of the Camilla Care Community property as part of the future footprint of the new Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, as well as the motion passed on February 2, 2022, by Mississauga City Council requesting an Enhanced Minister’s Zoning Order (EMZO) to help deliver a faster, more cost effective re-zoning process and avoid construction delays that would increase project costs and delay new health care services.
